Job Title: Senior Network Systems Analyst

This is a challenging opportunity to work with the Government of Nunavut as a Senior Network Systems Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise-wide networks with diverse solutions from multiple vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement large-scale network infrastructure solutions
  • Maintain and troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network infrastructure meets business needs
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
Requirements:
  • Recognized diploma in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related engineering program
  • Seven years of recent experience in large enterprise network environments
  • Current vendor certifications such as Microsoft, Novell, Symantec, Dell, F5, and EMC
  • Proven experience in project and contract administration within an enterprise level IM/ICT environment
  • Exposure to satellite network communications is an asset
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Inuktitut
  • Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut, and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment
