About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Bar Sofia. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of junior cooks and kitchen staff
  • Ensure that kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
  • Collaborate with the Chef to develop and implement new recipes and menu items
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all dishes are presented to the highest standard
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-performing restaurant
  • Culinary diploma/degree is an asset
  • Excellent knife handling skills and knowledge of professional cooking techniques
  • Able to spend 100% of the time standing
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
