Software International is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Construction Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing estimates for high rise residential development projects, advising on tendering procedures, and establishing and maintaining tendering processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including costs of materials, labor, and equipment
  • Advise on tendering procedures and examine and analyze tenders
  • Establish and maintain tendering processes and cost monitoring systems
  • Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts for construction projects
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and up-to-date reports
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in construction estimation
  • 3+ years of experience working on high rise residential projects
  • Holds a valid G/G2 driver's license
  • Experience with take-offs and reviewing markups
Work Environment

Construction estimators work in offices, but spend some time on construction sites reviewing progress and meeting with project stakeholders. They work with construction supervisors and managers to ensure accurate and up-to-date reports.
