Job Title: Construction Estimator

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at 12852195 CANADA INC. As a key member of our estimating department, you will play a crucial role in preparing accurate and detailed estimates for our construction projects.

Responsibilities:

* Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
* Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
* Conduct economic feasibility studies and provide preliminary estimates for proposed projects
* Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
* Establish and maintain cost monitoring and reporting systems
* Collaborate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure accurate estimates

Requirements:

* College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field
* 2 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
