Job Title: Construction Estimator

Chateau Window & Door Systems is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects
  • Operate CADD and other computer software systems to create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to prepare estimates and bids for home construction, renovation, and restoration projects
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Organized and able to work under pressure
  • Team player with excellent judgement
