Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at CAPELA SURFACES INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Read and analyze blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
  • Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads
  • Develop and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors to discuss changes and adjustments to cost estimates
  • Review bids and negotiate costs with clients
  • Prepare contracts and tenders for construction projects
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in construction estimation or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.

Language:

The primary language of work is English or French.

Hours of Work:

32 hours per week.
