Job Title: Construction Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team at Skyluxe Roofing and Sheet Metal. As a key member of our estimating team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate Labour and Material Costs: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs for construction projects.
  • Pre-qualification Submissions: Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients.
  • Blueprint Analysis: Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.
  • Estimate Reports: Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bids forms.
  • Tender Analysis: Analyze tenders and recommend awards.
  • Cost Monitoring: Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and monitor and adjust contract expenditures.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
