Position Overview

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our dining establishment, ensuring that our culinary team delivers exceptional service and quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Work Environment

This position is set in a fast-paced restaurant atmosphere where efficiency and attention to detail are paramount.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost projections.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit reports as required.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team.
  • Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary offerings.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
