Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Patel Group Forest Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our establishment.
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure optimal inventory management.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, inventory, and labor costs to inform business decisions.
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Customer Service and Communication
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure to meet customer demands.
    • Stand for extended periods, walk, and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Demonstrate excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with customers and staff.
    • Display flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
    • Work collaboratively as a team player to achieve business objectives.
    Requirements
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service or a related field.
    • Equivalent experience may be considered.
    Working Conditions
    • 35 hours per week.
    • Permanent position.
    • Work language: English.
