Your Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting assessments of clients' physical and cognitive capabilities within a clinical environment, including job demands analyses and functional capacity evaluations.
  2. Developing and executing tailored treatment plans based on thorough analysis and clinical insights.
  3. Providing education to clients on safe body mechanics, cognitive behavioral techniques, and activities to enhance functional tolerance.
  4. Facilitating return-to-work initiatives, including job coaching and accommodation strategies.
  5. Utilizing electronic charting systems to document treatment sessions and ensuring timely report submissions to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Engaging in case management and participating in interdisciplinary case conferences.
  7. Collaborating effectively with the inter-professional team at your clinic.
  8. Overseeing Occupational Therapy students as needed.
  9. Building networks with stakeholders to promote Lifemark's Occupational Therapy services.

Qualifications:

  1. Active registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  2. Experience in treating clients with physical, neurological, or mental health challenges.
  3. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
  4. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  5. Experience with auto insurance, long-term disability, and WSBC referrals is advantageous.
  6. Experience in occupational rehabilitation is preferred. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  7. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
