About the Team and the Role:

The Global Buyer Loyalty and Engagement team plays a crucial role in crafting customer-focused strategies that drive business growth and enhance buyer loyalty for eBay. We work closely with cross-functional and regional teams to implement engagement strategies and programs that create meaningful experiences for our 132 million active buyers. We are seeking a motivated and customer-centric leader to advance our mission. As the Senior Manager of Strategy and Operations, you will spearhead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that bolster our buyer engagement offerings, including global incentive strategies and insights. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of customer behavior, market dynamics, and business analytics to formulate compelling strategies that enhance customer engagement while optimizing revenue for eBay. This role presents a unique opportunity to gain a holistic view of our business ecosystem and acquire experience in customer strategy, product development, and business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Formulate, develop, and execute comprehensive strategies for buyer incentives and engagement that align with the organization's business goals. Supervise the optimization of global incentive investments across all incentive mechanisms, promoting best practices, standardized metrics, and integrated planning across various markets. Evaluate program performance, customer behavior, and market trends to propose and implement enhancements. Create and manage a product and analytics roadmap to ensure that buyer programs enrich the customer experience and foster long-term loyalty and engagement. Develop and execute strategies to drive growth and profitability of the services sector, analyzing customer demand and preferences for services, and collaborating with partners to negotiate pricing and service offerings to boost revenue and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-market teams, including Trade, Product, Marketing, and Analytics, to ensure cohesive execution aligned with business objectives. Lead, manage, and mentor a team to ensure commitment, productivity, and engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline. Over 7 years of experience in incentives, customer loyalty, business planning, and program management, with a proven track record of success on a global scale. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to utilize data-driven insights for informed decision-making. In-depth understanding of business/marketplace dynamics and customer economics, pricing, and profitability. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and cultures. Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and achieve business objectives. Experience in managing external partners and vendors. Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop dedicated teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Experience in online commerce within a marketplace is preferred.
