Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Group Strategy to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with our Business Units to develop the company's strategic growth plan, aligning with our Chief Strategy & Innovation Office and Senior Management Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of TSX Inc.'s enterprise-wide strategy to align with our corporate vision and objectives.
  • Own the strategic planning process across Business Units, focusing on long-term trends and competitive intelligence to identify new products, services, and partnerships to drive growth.
  • Develop clear communication materials to share findings and recommendations with our CEO, Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, and team members.
  • Perform competitive and financial analyses to identify new growth opportunities to support decision-making for our Business Units and Senior Management Team.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis of new verticals for expansion, develop business cases, and define the execution plan to enable (build vs. buy).
  • Research industry trends in new technologies and services, and build relationships with cross-functional teams to foster innovation adoption internally at TSX Inc.
  • Work collaboratively with our Corporate Development team to define an integrated, strategy execution process including identification of M&A opportunities.
  • Support integration efforts across the organization as required, which could include due diligence, target operating model design, and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, or a related field. MBA or Masters level education preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years in management consulting, or an in-house strategy function, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Solid analytical and project management skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong research and financial modeling skills, including business case development.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate recommendations, build presentations, and influence and engage individuals at all levels.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter who is curious to learn, comfortable working with ambiguity, and capable of delivering in a fast-paced environment.
