Sales Director

Hotel Equities, a leading hospitality management company, is seeking a seasoned Director of Sales to join our team at the 98-room Tru by Hilton Oshawa Ontario.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales revenue and developing strategic relationships with key clients to maximize hotel profitability. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients to secure group business and drive revenue growth.
- Attending industry events, networking with local officials, and building relationships with community groups to generate sales leads.
- Conducting site tours and maintaining a customer database to ensure seamless sales and marketing efforts.
- Developing and managing the departmental budget to ensure sales meet or exceed established profit plans.
We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales with 5+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably with knowledge of Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, or Hyatt sales processes and systems. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CI/TY, FOSSE & MARSHA.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
