Job Description

Director of Sales

We are seeking an experienced Director of Sales to join our team at Tru by Hilton Oshawa, Ontario. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and developing strategic relationships with key clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Create and execute sales plans to achieve revenue targets and maximize hotel profitability.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients to secure new business and maintain existing accounts.
  • Attend Networking Events: Represent the hotel at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct Site Tours: Showcase the hotel's amenities and services to potential clients.
  • Manage Customer Database: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activity.
  • Develop and Manage Departmental Budget: Oversee the sales department's budget and ensure sales activity meets or exceeds established profit targets.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably with a major hotel chain.
  • Skills: Proficient in CI/TY, FOSSE & MARSHA, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, initiative, and ability to work independently.
