Unit Supervisor

Crafty Ramen Market Inc. is seeking a skilled Unit Supervisor to join our food service team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and minimizing waste.
- Manage food service staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations, to maintain a high-performing team.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
- Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of productivity.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
- Flexibility, initiative, and a client-focused approach are essential for success in this role.
