Crafty Ramen Market Inc. is seeking a skilled Unit Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and service of our delicious ramen dishes.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient meal preparation and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare and submit reports on stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and maintain accurate records.
  • Recruit and train new staff members, promoting a positive and productive team culture.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
Work Environment:

Crafty Ramen Market Inc. is a dynamic and fast-paced food service establishment. As a Unit Supervisor, you will be working in a noisy, wet/damp, and hot environment with occasional exposure to odours. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.

Work Term:

Permanent position.

Hours:

40 hours per week.
