Crafty Ramen Market Inc. is seeking a skilled Unit Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
Work Environment:

The Unit Supervisor will work in a noisy, wet/damp, and hot environment with frequent exposure to odours. The work setting is a food service establishment, and the supervisor will be required to work outdoors.
