Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Elite Exterior Designs Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the design, construction, and installation of exterior building features.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Construction: Prepare layouts and designs for exterior building features, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Material Selection and Procurement: Source and procure high-quality materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials, to meet project requirements.
- Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create exterior building features, including foundations, floor beams, walls, and roof systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test constructed features to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior carpenters and construction staff to ensure efficient project completion.
- Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost control.
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on exterior building features, including residences, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Proficient in measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Work Conditions: Bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
- Physical Demands: Physically demanding work environment requiring stamina and endurance.
