About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legal administration, with a focus on restructuring and insolvency. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and drafting correspondence, contracts, and court documents.
  • Coordinating with court offices and staff, including the Commercial List and Bankruptcy Court.
  • Managing factums, motions, and applications.
  • Handling PPSA registrations, Titan files, and other complex documents.
  • Preparing accounts and managing pre-bills.
  • Taking instructions, prioritizing tasks, and managing ongoing projects.
  • Opening and closing files, including preparing reporting packages.
What We're Looking For

We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Legal Administrative Assistant Diploma from a recognized college.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the restructuring and insolvency practice area.
  • Excellent communication and technical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, PDF editing software, and other relevant tools.
