Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team at Impact Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling complex commercial litigation matters for our clients.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior lawyer to join a leading boutique firm in the North York area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, with a focus on insolvency, bankruptcy, and corporate restructuring matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling commercial litigation matters, including shareholder and partnership disputes, real estate and construction disputes, copyright issues, and Directors and officers' liability
  • Collaborating with members of the team to provide strong legal support
  • Providing expert advice to clients on commercial litigation matters
  • Developing and implementing effective litigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Be called to the Ontario Bar and be in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Have 6-10 years of focused commercial litigation experience
  • Have experience in insolvency and bankruptcy matters
