Job Title: Loan Restructure Specialist

This role is responsible for making informed decisions to prevent foreclosure, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing solutions to homeowners in need of mortgage restructuring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review loan files to assess the viability of restructure solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data to determine the best course of action and develop effective strategies for mortgage default resolution.
  • Communicate with homeowners to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions to address their mortgage challenges.
  • Document and update systems to support recommendations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve business processes and enhance the overall mortgage restructuring experience.

Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in the Residential Mortgage industry, with a strong understanding of mortgage default and collection processes.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word, with a strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Bilingual French and English required, with the ability to communicate effectively with homeowners and stakeholders.
