About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Portfolio Management Leader to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing credit structuring, credit underwriting, risk management, and client-facing support for a complex and diversified client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Credit Underwriting: Partner with sales teams to support the branch through effective and timely credit underwriting for new and existing borrowing clients. Manage risks and day-to-day client relationships for commercial clients.
  • Risk Management: Use knowledge of credit policies and arrangements to apply risk mitigation skills to ensure appropriate measures are put into place and risk assessment protocols and structures are implemented.
  • Client Experience: Connect with clients daily and provide critical retention touch points for high-value clients, actively determining needs and referring clients to other business partners across Disability Solutions.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Embody our values, lead with intention and conviction, and establish a psychologically safe and positive work environment that supports a fun, engaged, and strong diverse workforce.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in commerce, finance, or accounting fields (or equivalent experience) with demonstrated and proven abilities within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, and commercial credit underwriting.
  • Approximately 6 years of experience within functions of risk management, banking, business lending, and commercial credit underwriting, including significant direct experience with commercial credit underwriting across a broad range of industries.
  • Direct leadership and coaching experience.
