About the Role

Pahlisch Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team.

The Senior Financial Analyst will provide analytical support for the operations of PCI and capital management of associated Special Purpose Entities (SPEs). Primary responsibilities include analyzing capital requirements of our portfolio and running potential scenarios for review by the executive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Flow Forecasting: Create and update cash flow forecasts for all development projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial projections.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Collaborate with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director of Finance to create corporate pro forma financial statements, providing a comprehensive view of the company's financial performance.
  • Business Analysis: Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance, developing forecast models to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Portfolio Valuation: Update portfolio valuations, working with external parties to determine accurate values and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Loan Underwriting: Work closely with underwriters to close new loans, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for internal use, collecting, analyzing, formatting, and presenting information to support business decisions.
  • Financial Planning: Recommend financing structures (debt and equity) and consider the company's cost of capital, ensuring optimal financial performance.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Build budgets and forecasts of future company performance, providing a clear understanding of financial projections.
  • Cost Reduction and Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve financial performance, presenting creative alternatives and recommendations to management.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc analysis for executives as required, providing timely and accurate financial insights.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst.
  • Experience in Real Estate investment.
  • Proficient in Excel spreadsheets, databases, MS Office, and financial software applications.
  • Hands-on experience with statistical analysis and presentation packages.
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting, writing, and communication skills.
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting.
  • Proven knowledge of complex financials.
  • Well-informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money markets, and business environments.
