For over three decades, we have pioneered innovative automation solutions for various sectors including commercial, healthcare, education, and leisure facilities. We were the first to introduce a fully integrated BACnet building solution encompassing HVAC, lighting, and access control.

We are in search of a strategic and results-oriented Product Portfolio Leader to spearhead our initiatives in developing and managing our field devices business within the building automation domain.

This position will play a crucial role in fostering growth through effective product management, market analysis, and strategic collaborations with our third-party product vendors.

The ideal candidate will have a robust background in product management and distribution, a solid understanding of building automation systems, and strong business acumen.

You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer of Delta Controls.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct market analysis to identify trends and customer needs within the building automation industry.
2. Define requirements for an innovative product portfolio based on customer needs, technical feasibility, target vertical markets, and business objectives.
3. Drive the development of value-added product solutions aimed at specific applications and markets, overseeing the integration process through to market delivery.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with EQUIP vendors, exploring opportunities for joint initiatives and products.
5. Collaborate with application engineering and product management teams to inform product roadmap decisions and ensure alignment with market demands and regulatory requirements.
6. Establish pricing strategies, manage product pricing models, and conduct profitability analysis to optimize product margins and revenue growth.
7. Lead go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, messaging, and marketing collateral development in collaboration with the marketing team.
8. Monitor and analyze product portfolio performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to continuously enhance product offerings and market competitiveness.

Performance Measures:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and translate market insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
Proven experience in account management would be an asset.
Demonstrated success in product distribution and commercialization would be advantageous.
Technical knowledge in smart buildings, data centers, healthcare, and energy management would be beneficial.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
