Job Title: Department Sales Manager

As a Department Sales Manager at Sport Chek, you will be responsible for building and managing a daily game and sales plan for the department. This role requires a passion for sports and an active lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales staff to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry is an asset.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
