About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Sales Manager to join our team at Sport Chek. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive business growth and increase sales revenue
  • Coach and train sales associates on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide feedback to sales associates to improve performance
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve business objectives and improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills
  • Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry is an asset
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
