Our dedicated team, which includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Registered Dietitians, and Therapy Assistants, delivers services across various settings including homes, long-term care facilities, and educational institutions in the Greater Toronto Area, catering to clients of all ages.

Caseload Overview:

We are currently seeking full-time, part-time, and casual Speech-Language Pathologists to manage an adult caseload supported by secure Ministry funding. Therapy services are provided in both home and community environments. Our clinical caseload encompasses various areas of practice, including but not limited to dysphagia, aphasia, apraxia, cognitive-communication, and voice disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting client assessments in community settings based on identified impairments, disabilities, or challenges, utilizing standardized assessment tools
  • Developing treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices, relevant guidelines, and clinical expertise
  • Engaging clients, families, and caregivers in achieving client-centered goals outlined in the service plan
  • Facilitating client and family education
  • Assessing the effectiveness of interventions and monitoring client progress towards goals
  • Delivering evidence-based assessments and interventions utilizing SMART goals

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration with CASLPO (Mentoring Available for Initial Practice)
  • Strong assessment and intervention capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities
  • Experience in providing community-based services
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, along with effective organizational abilities
  • Preferred 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Dysphagia experience is advantageous
  • Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license
  • Proof of professional liability insurance
  • Completion of a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
