Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
Work Environment

The position is situated in a non-smoking environment, promoting a healthy atmosphere for both clients and caregivers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Administer prescribed medications as directed.
  • Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
  • Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
  • Change non-sterile dressings as needed.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to ensure cleanliness.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy living space.
  • Shop for food and household supplies as required.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to client needs.
  • Engage in cooking duties as necessary.
