Key Responsibilities

The Property Manager will oversee functions to ensure properties are maintained and operated in alignment with company objectives while facilitating solutions to issues that arise between communities and internal support teams, adhering to established policies.

Duties & Responsibilities

Uphold FirstService Residential Global Service Standards Conduct business with the utmost standards of personal, professional, and ethical integrity Provide management and leadership to properties within the assigned region and portfolio Collaborate with the Regional Director to set and communicate objectives Ensure that the goals of the company and its clients are consistently achieved Oversee the operations of a team across various properties while maintaining excellence in processes, methods, and personnel Manage process improvements and quality control of property management functions to enhance productivity and ensure quality service delivery Offer leadership and guidance while assisting in the investigation and resolution of any issues that may arise Establish and maintain positive relationships with the Board of Directors and internal departments Conduct regular site inspections, identify deficiencies, and provide recommendations and action plans for property enhancement Foster harmonious employee/employer relations Stay informed of changes in rules, statutes, or regulations and communicate updates to staff Direct staff training when new procedures are required to comply with changes

Education & Experience

Hold a General License in good standing RCM or other recognized property management designation A seasoned Condominium Manager with a minimum of 5 years in the field Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related discipline from an accredited institution Proficient knowledge and experience in financial accounting within commercial real estate, financial reporting, and budgeting are essential Experience in maintenance, construction, engineering, and all aspects of property operation and management is advantageous

Knowledge, Skills & Proficiencies

Familiarity with the application of the Condominium Act in community operations Excellent organizational, motivational, leadership, management, interpersonal, and customer service skills Strong critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities Capability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, and/or regulations Knowledge of mechanical operations of buildings and equipment is preferred Proficient in PC applications including MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Must be available for emergency on-call and after-hours service and evening meeting commitments

Travel Requirements

Travel to the head office is necessary.
