We are seeking a dedicated Residential Care Assistant to provide compassionate support to our clients in a live-in setting. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and comfort of individuals requiring assistance.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Experience: Previous experience ranging from 1 to less than 7 months is preferred.
The work environment is non-smoking, promoting a healthy atmosphere for both clients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide bedside and personal care to clients.
- Administer prescribed medications as needed.
- Assist clients with bathing and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Encourage and assist clients in regular physical activities, such as walking.
- Change non-sterile dressings as required.
- Launder clothing and household linens to ensure cleanliness.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy living space.
- Shop for food and household supplies to meet clients' needs.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to clients' dietary requirements.
- Cook meals as necessary, ensuring quality and taste.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English is the primary language of communication.
- Hours: Full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
