Job Title: Community and Social Services Worker

Job Summary:

The Community and Social Services Worker will be responsible for providing a range of services to clients, including case management, counseling, and advocacy. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide case management services to clients, including assessment, planning, and coordination of services.
  • Conduct counseling sessions with clients to address their needs and goals.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure their rights and interests are protected.
  • Develop and implement programs to support clients, including life skills workshops and social research.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive services to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and services provided.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of program plans and policies.
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:

The Community and Social Services Worker will work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of autonomy. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team, and will be expected to maintain accurate records and reports of client interactions and services provided.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 hours per week.
