About the Role

This is a position within the Design, Configuration & Knowledge Sharing Agile Unit, focused on implementing and maintaining product configuration tools for Electrification Business Area products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead projects for the development of global inquiry to remittance product configuration tools.
  • Coordinate all product configuration tool development efforts between Marketing & Sales, Global Product Management, IT, Supply Chain, and Finance across the Electrification Business Units.
  • Uncover, collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into implementation specifications and managing timelines, resources, and overall project execution.
  • Collaborate closely with business users and development teams to establish clear development plans and testable acceptance criteria, ensuring seamless alignment.
  • Work together with developers and IS project managers to estimate and monitor development effort, encompassing capacity, status, and velocity, across planned developments and releases.
  • Master the intricacies of our application landscape and grasp business needs, allowing you to proactively address incidents and changes.
  • Take an active role in creating and presenting innovative solutions to our Business users and Partners, becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of expertise, contributing your technical and business process/data prowess to drive ongoing operations and develop high-quality products.
  • Embrace a collaborative, cross-discipline team environment, applying Agile development methodologies and actively participating in all team activities.
  • Work closely with R&D to gather and define NPI requirements as well as legacy product designs and applications.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Pricing, and Controllers to develop pricing and costing models to ensure market acceptable pricing, accurate costing at the quote stage, as well as product line profitability.
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure desired functionality and quality of product configuration tools.
  • Provide training and guidance to users of the tools.
Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical field and minimum 4 years of experience in quotation, engineering, application, project management, or product development.
  • 4 years of experience working with electrical distribution products.
  • Enhanced knowledge of project management and project execution methodologies.
  • Passion for change and good influencing skills.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics engineering, Computer science (or High School Diploma/GED).
