Component Configurators Functional Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Component Configurators Functional Analyst to join our team at ABB Oil and Gas. As a key member of our Design, Configuration & Knowledge Sharing Agile Unit, you will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining product configuration tools for our Electrification Business Area products.
Key Responsibilities- Project Leadership: Lead projects for the development of global inquiry to remittance product configuration tools, coordinating efforts between Marketing & Sales, Global Product Management, IT, Supply Chain, and Finance across the Electrification Business Units.
- Business Requirements Analysis: Uncover, collect, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into implementation specifications and managing timelines, resources, and overall project execution.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with business users and development teams to establish clear development plans and testable acceptance criteria, ensuring seamless alignment.
- Application Landscape Expertise: Master the intricacies of our application landscape and grasp business needs, proactively addressing incidents and changes.
- Innovation and Expertise: Take an active role in creating and presenting innovative solutions to our Business users and Partners, becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in your area of expertise.
- Agile Development Methodologies: Embrace a collaborative, cross-discipline team environment, applying Agile development methodologies and actively participating in all team activities.
- NPI and Legacy Product Design: Work closely with R&D to gather and define NPI requirements as well as legacy product designs and applications.
- Pricing and Costing Models: Develop and execute test plans to ensure desired functionality and quality of product configuration tools, providing training and guidance to users of the tools.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a technical field and 4 years of experience in quotation, engineering, application, project management, or product development.
- 4 years of experience working with electrical distribution products.
- Enhanced knowledge of project management and project execution methodologies.
- Passionate about change and good influencing skills.
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Electronics engineering, Computer science (or High School Diploma/GED).
