**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Legal Assistant - Creditors' Rights at Kronis, Rotsztain, Margles, Cappel LLP. As a key member of our Creditors' Rights department, you will provide administrative support to our associate lawyers, ensuring the smooth operation of our legal services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to associate lawyers, including opening and closing files, updating client databases, and preparing legal documents.
  • Process incoming correspondence and draft outgoing correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate communication with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documents, such as affidavits, motion records, and other court-related documents.
  • Perform searches and follow up on document requests, ensuring efficient and effective communication with clients and other parties.
  • Present a professional image of the firm at all times, interacting with clients, visitors, and other stakeholders in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Provide coverage for other department team members as needed, ensuring seamless support and service to our clients.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of relevant experience in a legal or administrative support role.
  • Relevant degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong attendance record.
