As a Clinical Project Coordinator, you will possess a deep understanding of clinical workflows, relevant regulatory requirements, and the principles of quality and safety improvement within your specialized area.
This role requires expertise in core technologies relevant to your focus area, along with a comprehensive knowledge of the workflows and applications that support these technologies.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead clinical project initiatives to ensure they are strategically planned and executed using evidence-based practices that enhance patient care delivery.
- Maintain up-to-date workflows and processes in alignment with regulatory standards and best practice guidelines.
- Identify necessary system modifications to ensure compliance with policies and procedures efficiently.
- Leverage data analytics to drive improvements in processes, workflows, and behaviors related to the effective use of electronic medical records (EMR) and other clinical technologies.
- Engage in the creation and dissemination of communications regarding technology through active networking, clinical liaison roles, newsletters, and announcements to healthcare professionals.
- Conduct regular rounding in patient care areas to gain insights into facility-specific workflows, patient throughput, and technology-related challenges.
A post-graduate degree in Nursing Informatics, Health Informatics, or a related field is required. Alternatively, a clinical background combined with a post-graduate degree and one year of Informatics experience is acceptable.
Completion of the EPIC Clinical Content Builder series and relevant certifications or badges related to workflows and applications within the first year is expected, with possible extensions upon approval.
