Role Overview

The Retail Team Supervisor serves as a vital link between the leadership team and sales associates, playing a key role in the operational success of the store. Reporting to the Store Manager, this position provides essential support in the absence of management and inspires the team to surpass sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model exemplary customer service and sales behaviors to foster a positive shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies that enhance store performance and operational efficiency.
  • Contribute innovative ideas to improve store productivity and streamline operations.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.
  • Mentor associates on customer service best practices and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address and resolve customer service issues effectively.
  • Delegate tasks to optimize team performance and store operations.
  • Provide feedback on individual and team performance to management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform opening and closing duties, along with inventory management as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail environment, preferably in apparel or luxury retail.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a proven track record of managing a sales team.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and financial procedures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also being self-driven.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
