About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at RAJA THAI AND INDIAN CUISINE. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen and service staff to ensure seamless execution of our menu and service standards.
    • Train and develop our staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Menu Planning and Inventory Management
    • Work with our culinary team to plan and implement new menu items and promotions that meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that we have the necessary supplies and ingredients to meet our menu and service standards.
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
    • Monitor and maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness in our kitchen and dining areas.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators to inform our business decisions.
    • Manage our restaurant's financial and administrative tasks, including payroll, scheduling, and inventory management.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting
    • Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Demands
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Work under pressure.
    • Standing for extended periods.
    • Walking.
