Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their dietary needs are met.
  • Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent attention to detail, client focus, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
