Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor at RAJA THAI AND INDIAN CUISINE involves overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant's food service department. This position is essential in ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant setting, requiring the ability to perform under pressure and maintain a high level of service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation practices, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the culinary genres offered by the establishment.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee staff across various operational areas, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.

Physical and Personal Requirements
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods and walking.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Exhibit client-focused service, flexibility, and a strong team-oriented approach.
