Position Overview

The Culinary Service Supervisor is responsible for overseeing food preparation and service operations within the establishment. This role requires a strong focus on quality control and customer satisfaction.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, hygiene, and safety protocols.
  • Assess and estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports on operations.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays to ensure accuracy.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of 3-4 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Oversee kitchen and food service helpers.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Standing for extended periods is required.
  • Physically demanding tasks are part of the role.
  • Attention to detail is crucial for success.
