About the Role

The Chief Student Experience Officer will play a critical role in the cohesive management and integration of diverse student experiences, advocating for students and fostering relationships to support the students' voice in college decisions which impact student success.

This senior administrator will oversee services in International, the Learning Commons & Academic Success Center, and Student Services, responsible for a portfolio dedicated to fostering student success and fulfilling Academica Group's strategic commitments to Indigenization and decolonization; equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging; academic excellence; civic leadership, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a holistic set of programming to enhance student life and Academica Group's goals.
  • Manage student conduct cases and provide guidance, information analysis, and resources to the VP Student Affairs.
  • Represent Academica Group on international, national, and provincial levels, and develop relationships with local communities and external organizations.
  • Work closely with department leaders in the development, implementation, and assessment of student services.
  • Lead and integrate robust holistic student support, services, and programming models for all of Academica Group's campuses.
Requirements
  • Eight years of experience in senior leadership, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing student conduct cases.
  • Proven expertise in data-informed, learning, and teaching-focused post-secondary environments.
  • A coaching mindset, creating a thought-provoking environment to help others achieve their goals.
