As a key member of the Academica Group team, the Associate Vice-President Students will play a critical role in fostering student success and fulfillment of the company's strategic commitments.

The ideal candidate will be a values-driven leader, skilled in developing and executing a holistic set of programming to enhance student life and Academica Group's goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership and insight in a student support ecosystem with diverse service areas.
  • Advocating for students and fostering relationships to support the students' voice in company decisions.
  • Overseeing services in International, the Learning Commons & Academic Success Center, and Student Services.
  • Developing effective systems and services to support students, while expertly employing change management skills.
  • Cultivating and coordinating institutional structures and programs designed to help all students become intentional in their learning, engaged in their college experience, and successful in their chosen fields.

The Associate Vice-President Students will report directly to the Vice-President Student Affairs and will lead and integrate robust holistic student support, services, and programming model for all of Academica Group's campuses.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Eight years of experience in senior leadership, preferably in a post-secondary setting.
  • Demonstrated skill in managing student conduct cases.
  • Proven expertise in data-informed, learning and teaching focused post-secondary environments.
  • A coaching mindset, creating a thought-provoking environment to help others achieve their goals.
