Job Summary

Northern Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide confidential administrative support to the Vice President, Clinical Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and organizing workflow, determining priorities, and composing correspondence for signature. Additionally, they will design and create correspondence, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets, including data entry for authorization by the management team. The Executive Assistant will also arrange travel and accommodation, maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all information, and support the Vice President in setting a positive and collaborative tone for the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

* Coordinate and organize workflow, determining priorities and managing multiple tasks simultaneously
* Compose correspondence for signature, design and create correspondence, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets
* Arrange travel and accommodation, including booking flights, vehicles, and hotel reservations
* Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of all information, including sensitive and confidential documents
* Support the Vice President in setting a positive and collaborative tone for the portfolio

Qualifications

* Graduation from a recognized secretarial program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
* Five years' experience as an Executive Assistant to a senior official in a large, complex organization
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work under supervision and within team settings
* Proficient in organizing workload and prioritizing tasks, effective and efficient computer and written communication skills
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently, typing speed of 60 wpm, and proficiency in setting up letters, reports, and other documents in a professional format
