Job Summary

Humber River Regional Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our Medical Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, operating complex equipment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including x-rays, fluoroscopy, and other imaging modalities, as per established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, including digital radiography systems, fluoroscopy units, and other medical imaging devices.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including obtaining informed consent, positioning patients, and ensuring patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) and current certification in Diagnostic Imaging.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging, with a strong background in x-ray and fluoroscopy procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
