About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Sinai Health. As a key member of our Medical Imaging Department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of medical imaging excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety in the MRI environment, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, building trust and rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Work effectively as a team member, collaborating with colleagues to maximize scanner utilization and optimize patient flow.
  • Operate, evaluate, and troubleshoot MRI equipment and software, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Document all aspects of MR examinations thoroughly and accurately, maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
  • Participate in education and training programs, sharing expertise with students and colleagues.
  • Contribute to research studies, applying your expertise to advance medical imaging knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Medical Radiation Technologist (MR) designation
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Level II certificate
  • Cross-sectional anatomy course
  • Contrast injection course
Preferred Qualifications
  • Recent experience as a practicing MRI technologist
