Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and certified Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at MyHealth Centre. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of ultrasound examinations on patients, using state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Prepare patients for examinations, explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of ultrasound technology and procedures, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
  • CMRTO certification and current CPR certification.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including vascular, MSK, and OB exams.
  • Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
