Position Overview

As a Supply Chain Specialist at PAPYRUS PAPER PLUS TRADING INC., you will play a crucial role in managing our procurement processes and ensuring the efficient operation of our supply chain.

  • Work Term: Permanent

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in a relevant field
Key Responsibilities
  • Procure general and specialized equipment, materials, and services.
  • Evaluate the needs of the organization to formulate specifications for necessary purchases.
  • Develop detailed specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Negotiate terms and offers with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
  • Engage in consultations with suppliers to ensure alignment with organizational needs.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and supervision of team members.
  • Establish and manage delivery timelines to ensure timely procurement.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and suppliers to address and resolve issues.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the logistical operations of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervise a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Experience Requirements

Proven experience in purchasing, procurement, and contract management.
