Job Summary

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics processes for our company. This includes purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services, as well as developing specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased. The successful candidate will have excellent negotiation and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services to meet the needs of the company.
  • Requirements Assessment: Assess the requirements of the company to develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Specifications Development: Develop specifications for equipment, materials, and supplies to be purchased.
  • Negotiation and Communication: Negotiate offers from suppliers and consult with them to ensure that the company's needs are met.
  • Logistics and Operations: Plan, organize, and oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including establishing delivery schedules and contacting clients and suppliers to resolve problems.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
