Position Overview

We are looking for a Supervisor of Internal Sales to oversee our internal sales operations. This role involves managing and supporting the internal sales and counter teams. You will report directly to the branch manager and engage with both the field sales and purchasing teams, as well as customers through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visits to key clients
  • Handle orders, inquiries, and quotes while providing assistance at the counter and order desk
  • Ensure efficient management of all incoming calls
  • Regularly assess workload and maintain a balanced distribution among team members
  • Review and allocate incoming purchase orders, ensuring accurate entry of all orders
  • Evaluate whether quote requests should be processed by the order desk or directed to the quoting department
  • Identify and confirm project stock requirements for clients
  • Collaborate with purchasing and sales teams to pinpoint stock needs and opportunities
  • Organize informative sessions and lunches with manufacturer representatives
  • Uphold a high standard of customer service consistently
  • Act as a brand ambassador, enhancing brand visibility, supporting sales initiatives, and improving customer experiences

Candidate Profile:

  • High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience, or a suitable combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members and foster customer relationships
  • Ability to comprehend instructions, memos, and product specifications
  • Skilled in prioritizing multiple tasks and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a focus on knowledge sharing
  • Proficient in AS400 system and Microsoft Office suite
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English
