Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the needs of our customers.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, stock, and wastage.
- Establish and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations, promoting cultural sensitivity and awareness.
- Support newcomers and refugees by recruiting and providing on-the-job training tailored to their needs.
- Offer on-the-job training to youth, promoting their development and growth.
- 1-2 years of experience in food service management or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, promoting a positive and inclusive work culture.
English
Work Hours:30-40 hours per week
